About Me

My name is Daria Tavana. I am a board-certified physical therapist who specializes in pelvic health, lymphedema and general orthopedic rehabilitation. I graduated from Columbia University Medical Center in 2017, and started my journey into women’s health in 2021. I have found my passion in helping women better understand their bodies and pelvic related symptoms, specifically in pregnancy, postpartum, & menopause. I believe there is an incredible power in feeling both listened to and validated by your medical provider, and too often, women are left feeling either misunderstood or dismissed when looking for support for their pelvic health symptoms. Many women have been told their symptoms are “normal,” or something they simply have to live with—My goal is to help change that narrative by creating a safe, supportive environment where women feel heard, empowered, and confident advocating for their health while gaining the knowledge, tools, and support needed to take control of their symptoms and thrive throughout every stage of life.
